The Bridge Team Management (BTM) course provides advanced training for senior deck officers responsible for leading and managing bridge teams during routine and emergency operations. The course covers bridge organization, leadership, communication, situational awareness, risk assessment, decision-making, pilot-master exchange, workload management, emergency response, and the effective use of bridge resources. Participants will develop the managerial and leadership skills necessary to coordinate bridge personnel, enhance navigational safety, reduce human error, and ensure compliance with international maritime standards and STCW requirements.
